The Great Ape Welfare Group, in conjunction with ABWAK and BIAZA, are delighted to invite you to Paignton Zoo for two days of discussion surrounding great apes in human care. 

Presentations will include an:

• Bristol's UV work with gorillas
• Substrates and Bioactive floors
• Updates from the field
• Bringing elements of the wild habitat into design to enhance behaviour.
• TAG update
• Standardising our approach to data collection - what it can mean for our animals.
• Use and provisions of browse
• How we construct animal diets, a new approach.
• Tour of the Great Ape facilities at Paignton

Cost for ABWAK and BIAZA members: £45 per day or £105 for both days, including evening event on day one.

Non-member ABWAK/BIAZA great ape keepers: £50 per day or £115 for both days including evening event on day one.

Refreshments and lunch are included in the price.
