Tony Nevin has been providing osteopathic care for both humans and animals for over 30 years. In this exclusive 1-day workshop, aimed specifically at animal-care professionals, Tony will outline the principles of osteopathy to treat musculo-skeletal problems in mammals, birds and reptiles. The day will include both class room work and practical hands-on sessions with some of Chessington’s resident stock.

Topics covered will include:

• Recognising changes in body language, behaviour and gait and the use of such in diagnosis.
• Thermal imaging to help diagnose musculo-skeletal complaints.
• Formulation of treatment plans.
• Target training to promote muscle exercise.
• Enclosure design to promote physical wellbeing.
